There were two childhood buddies who went through school and college and even joined the army together. War broke out and they were fighting in the same unit. One night they were ambushed.

Bullets were flying all over and out of the darkness came a voice, "Harry, please come and help me."

Harry immediately recognized the voice of his childhood buddy, Bill. He asked the captain if he could go.

The captain said, "No, I can't let you go, I am already short-handed and I cannot afford to lose one more person. Besides, the way Bill sounds he is not going to make it." Harry kept quiet.

Again the voice came, "Harry, please come and help me." Harry sat quietly because the captain had refused earlier.

Again and again the voice came.

Harry couldn't contain himself any longer and told the captain, "Captain, this is my childhood buddy. I have to go and help."

The captain reluctantly let him go. Harry crawled through the darkness and dragged Bill back into the trench. They found that Bill was dead.

Now the captain got angry and shouted at Harry, "Didn't I tell you he was not going to make it? He is dead, you could have been killed and I could have lost a hand. That was a mistake."

Harry replied, "Captain, I did the right thing. When I reached Bill he was still alive and his last words were 'Harry, I knew you would come."'

The new cafe

I went to One U today and something caught my attention.

A new cafe. Opening soon on 14th July 2008.

When I saw it I was so excited I stood in front of the poster for a few minutes admiring the picture.

A new Chocolate cafe, Theobroma is opening!!!!!!!!

I think it should be similar to Koko Black and Max Brenner. They had pictures of a cup above a small candle (like Suckao in Max Brenner) and the famous waffle and stawberries coated with chocolate sauce which all chocolate shops must have.

Yay, I'm so happy, it made my day =D

Oh, and today is Tan Fang Chin's birthday! *Muacks* There. A big kiss for your birthday, hehe.

In the Sunday Star, one subtitle caught my attention.

The Transport Minister has been monitoring the services provided by KTMB and he is NOT impressed.

He said he had received many complaints from the public and most of them are regarding the delay in trains.

Then it crossed my mind. Why hadn't I think of it before?

I should share my KTM story with the Transport Minister. Oh yes the one that involves the blue man. I mean, the incident happened at the KTM station right? That means technically. it still involves KTM right?

At 12 last night, I was preparing to go to bed. I changed into my PJs, brushed my teeth and was preparing to shut down my computer when my handphone vibrated.

Mun Khea's name was flashing on the display screen.

When I picked up the phone, she asked in a serious voice "Sue-Li are you asleep?"

I said not yet but going to. Then I asked her why.

She answered " I want to ask you something."

The seriousness in her voice made me sit up straight and I un-shutdown my computer (just in case I needed to go online you know).

"Do you...."

Before she could finish her sentence, all sorts of possible questions that she may be asking have already formed in my head. All sorts of possible very serious question that lead her to call me right in the middle of the night without warning.

~Do you have last year's lecture notes? Do you know that who and who broke up already? Do you have extra cash cuz blablabla? Do you think you can help me do blabla? Do you know that chocolates taste BETTER eaten cold?~

Got tagged by Yoong Kang. Got abit stucked at the 8 things I'm passionate about part, but I realised I don't have to be too general. I can actually do it specifically. So here goes:

8 Things I'm passionate about:

1) Milk & Dark Chocolate (plain without nuts)

2) Klang Jaya's Fried Chicken

3) Homemade warm milo that is not stirred properly so when I reach the bottom, I get satisfaction out of eating the milo powder.

~ok now I sound like some greedy monster with all the food listed above (actually still got one more, which is the honey milk in Jeth Ice Cream and Coffee House ). I shall conclude this with 2 intelligent things, which I think (I hope) I'm passionate about.
7) Books (err�only very CERTAIN books that do not require much brain cells; that means no political or historical or classical books. Preferably books with twisted endings).

1) Stay away from men who stand at the door of the KTM and have huge eyes and wear blue shirt (okla I'm still sore from Friday's incident. Summore when I told See Ting and Chee Shin the story in Fruity today, the aunty�SNICKERED!!! -_-''' You tell me what kind of friend is this!)
2) Secret Recipe's cakes are getting more expensive.

3) So is the Klang Jaya Fried Chicken (but that doesn't mean I shall stop eating the chicken *ahem*).

4) That Ee Von knows how to make Oreos Cheesecake (so why am I going to Secret Recipe right? hehehehe).

5) I've recently learnt that the Reader's Corner in Subang Parade has shifted! (Ee Von, that time when we went to check it, it wasn't close because it was late. It's memang close cuz sudah pindah!!!)

6) I've learnt that I'm a person who gets superbly awkward when someone cries in front of me cuz I will not know what to say (but when someone tells me their personal sad story it kinda makes me feel honoured to be like the chosen trusted one. Ok I know I'm abit weird).

7) I've also learnt that I'm capable of dealing with LDR (with the help of the internet and phone calls and post offices and of cuz the short visitations to lessen the torture of the one and a half years we were supposed to be away from each other). Don't I deserve a cookie for this?

8) Lastly, I've learnt that ��.DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES SEASON 4 EPISODE 13 CANNOT BE VIEWED ONLINE!! WHY!??!?! (I've tried going different sites but all of them use youku, which has Chinese wordings and whenever I try to click episode 13, it fails! And when I try episode 14, it works!!! BUT HOW TO WATCH 14 WHEN 13 HAVEN'T WATCH YET!!! SUMMORE EPISODE 12 SUPER INTERESTING AND WHEN I FAILED TO BUFFER EPISODE 13 IS LIKE POTONG STEAM YOU KNOW!)
